How to get the most out of your day at Disneyland:
Take a few minutes to look at the park map, attractions and show times. Do you want to squeeze in as much as possible or do you want to hit a few favorites and call it a day? Plan out what attractions and shows you would like to see. Make a route that will save time and eliminate excess walking.
Here is a list of some attractions and entertainment that you and your little ones may find especially enjoyable!
Main Street U.S.A.
Adventureland
Critter Country
Frontierland
Big Thunder Ranch / Petting Farm
Mickey's Toontown
Mickey's House
Fantasyland
Tomorrowland
Reduce the time you spend in line with Disney's FASTPASS service! FASTPASS tickets are available at attractions above marked with (FP). FASTPASS allows you to come back at a later return time and hop on the attraction with little or no waiting. If you arrive after your FASTPASS return time don't worry... your FASTPASS will still be honored!
If you want to experience an attraction, but your little one is just too little... use Disney's Rider Switch program! One adult rides while the other waits with the child, then you can switch places without having to wait in line all over again! The pass is good for two people so you don't have to ride alone. Ask any Cast Member for details.
Shopping for souvenirs can be done before you leave. Main Street, U.S.A. gift shops remain open one hour longer than the park. The World of Disney gift shop in Downtown Disney also keeps later hours. This way you don't have bags to lug around all day!
Some of the information above can be found in the Magical Beginnings guide. Download your own Magical Beginnings guide HERE! This guide can also be picked-up in person from Disneyland's City Hall (located in Town Square at the beginning of Main Street, U.S.A.) or any Disneyland Resort Information or Baby Care Center.
